2026 Student Science and Technology Award

Are you passionate about a research topic? Do you want to showcase your capabilities and elevate your project to a national level? The 2026 Science and Technology Award for Students (hereinafter referred to as the Award) is the perfect platform for you.

 OBJECT:

Students currently enrolled (not yet graduated) at International University as of June 30, 2026

 Requirement:

– Each topic is carried out by 01 student, with no more than 05 students participating. & There may be a maximum of 02 supervisors, including 01 principal supervisor;

– The product of the research topic has been published or applied in practice for at least 01 year as of the date of submitting the application for the award. The forms of publication include:

  • Books of specialized research, reference books issued with a publishing permit
  • Articles published in scientific journals
  • Reports presented or in the conference proceedings of domestic and international scientific conferences
  • Reports or presentations, product demonstrations at conferences, seminars, and workshops at the department level and above
  • Applications implemented in practice with confirmation from the organization or using unit of the project product

– The topic is organized and evaluated by the higher education institution, selected and submitted for consideration for the award;

– The topic has not been submitted or participated in any ministry-level award or equivalent at the time of submitting the application;

– Graduation theses and final project works are not eligible for submission to the competition;

– Works, projects participating in the award evaluation must ensure honesty in scientific research;

– As of the time of award evaluation, the author/author group must not have violated the provisions of Article 8 of the Science and Technology Law 2013.

 APPLICATION FILE FOR AWARD EVALUATION (only electronic submission is accepted)

  • Summary list with confirmation from the Department/Subject Department  HERE
  • Registration form for participation in the award evaluation for students
  • Three (03) summary reports of the project participating in the award evaluation (Form 04);
  • One (01) set of documents proving scientific publication from the research results of the project or comments, evaluations from the implementing organization that have applied the research results of the project (if any); copies of scientific and technological documents, and other related materials (if any);
  • Supporting documents to determine the maximum number of projects that can be submitted by the higher education institution according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 5 of this Regulation.
  • One (01) electronic application file containing all the documents specified in points a, b, c, and d of this clause. (Simultaneously including both PDF and Word files)

 DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS

  • Submit to the address  ntkien@hcmiu.edu.vn;  before 16:00 on Friday, May 29, 2026
  • Email subject must clearly state: “GT KHCN 2026 – Full name – Abbreviated field” (example: GT KHCN 2026 – Nguyen Van A – KHTN)

 “TOP TIPS” FOR A COMPETENT APPLICATION:

  • Ensure that the topic meets the requirements set out in  Circular No. 45/2020/TT-BGDĐT.
  • SPECIAL NOTE: The summary report must absolutely NOT include personal names, names of supervisors, or the name of the university to ensure fairness in the evaluation process.
