2024 Student Scientific Research Conference

Based on Decision No. 808/QĐ-ĐHQT dated October 30, 2024, of the President of International University regarding the issuance of Regulations on the work of rewarding students at International University, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City;

Based on the policy of vigorously promoting scientific research (NCKH) activities of students at International University, the Student Affairs Office provides information about the 2024 Student Scientific Research Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) as follows;

1. Implementation progress:

– Ngày 23/11/2024: Students and graduate students submit scientific research projects to the relevant Faculty/Department/Centre through the unit’s Research Assistant;

– Ngày 30/11/2024: Research Assistant sent to the Organizing Committee via email: ntkien@hcmiu.edu.vn;

– From ngày 16/12 to ngày 21/12/2024 (01 ngày)Organize a Conference

2. Research fields:

Research and development projects may belong to the following fields:

• Natural Sciences;
• Science and Technology;
• Life Sciences
• Social Sciences.

All accepted research and development projects will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN code

3. Prize Structure:

– Received a certificate of commendation from the Rector for students who are the leading authors or corresponding authors of research and development projects awarded First, Second, or Third Place prizes;

– Being introduced to participate in competitions at various levels;

– Received commendation levels for each field as follows:

• First Prize3.000.000 đồng/per project
• Second Prize2.000.000 đồng/per project
• Third Prize: 1.000.000 VND per project;
• Mentor faculty member whose student won First Prize: 2.500.000 VND per project and receives commendation from the Rector.

– Rewards for most impressive poster at the Conference: Receives a commendation reward of 500.000 VND per poster for each field.

4. Participation documents:

– 01 scientific research project (in the form of a conference paper in English, refer to the template at: https://ord.hcmiu.edu.vn/bieumau

– Each project must design 01 poster introducing the research results in size 0.8m x 1.3m (portrait format). For the poster, please submit in PNG format before November 30, 2024 via: https://forms.gle/XrrpzqHJCT6o4xfc7
