CHOOSE THE CORRECT ENROLLMENT PROCESS

International University implements two admission methods. Applicants must correctly identify the target group, registration portal, and corresponding documents before proceeding.

Important note: Registering on the School's portal does not replace registering your preference on the Ministry of Education and Training's information system when regulations require it.

Method 1 · 1% of total quota

Direct admission, priority admission

For candidates belonging to direct admission or preferential admission categories according to the Ministry of Education and Training's Admission Regulations and the School's regulations.

Maximum number of preferences: 03 choices at the University

Method 2 · 100-point scale

Comprehensive admission

Admission based on academic performance, bonus points, and priority points. The registration process differs between Vietnamese high school graduates and international high school programs.

Application Method 01

DIRECT ADMISSION AND PREFERRED ADMISSION REVIEW PROCESS

Complete the online registration first, then submit the complete paper dossier to the University.

Online Registration

Access the candidate portal, fill in all registration information within the specified time period.

Print and confirm the form

After successful registration, print the registration form, attach a photo, sign the form, and get the school's confirmation from the high school.

Submit paper documents

Submit in person or send via express mail to the Office of University Education (O2.708), International University.

COMPREHENSIVE ADMISSION REVIEW PROCESS

Choose a guide suitable for the high school program that the candidate has graduated from.

Candidates who graduated from high school

Vietnamese High School Program

Checking admission criteria Candidates must meet the requirements for the target group, admission conditions, and achieve the minimum threshold of Method 2 of 50 points or higher on a 100-point scale.
Declare bonus points, if any From 08/06 to 30/06/2026, scan or clearly photograph the supporting documents, each file no more than 5 MB, then upload Candidate Portal.
Register and Arrange Preferences Implementing on the Ministry of Education and Training information system from July 2 to 17:00 on July 14, 2026. Applicants can register up to 15 preferences and must be arranged in order of priority from highest to lowest.
Submit application fee Payment of fees from 15/07 to 17:00 on 21/07/2026 according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; check the status to ensure the transaction is completed.
Monitor admission results The university will announce results before 5:00 PM on August 13, 2026. Applicants will only be admitted to the highest preference that meets the conditions in their registered list.

Candidates who graduated from high school

International High School Program

Confirm admission eligibility Candidates must graduate from an international high school and have a document from the competent authority recognizing the equivalent level of Vietnamese high school. The combined admission threshold is from 50/100 points.
Prepare academic dossier Completed Admission Application Form; with certified copies or certified translations of the high school transcript, graduation certificate/degree, and documents confirming equivalent qualifications.
Supplement Personal Documents Prepare 03 3×4 photos, certified copy of passport or ID card, and certified copy of IELTS or TOEFL iBT certificate if applicable. The application dossier must be clear and complete before submission.
Submit application on time Submit in person or send via post from 10/06 to 10/07/2026 to the Office of International Relations (O2.704), International University, Khu Pho 33, Phường Linh Xuân, Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh.
Monitor results and receive support Results will be published before 5:00 PM on August 13, 2026. For support, contact iu.support@hcmiu.edu.vn or (028) 3724 4270 – extension 3220.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR POINTS ADDITION

Scan or photograph the original documents/certified copies clearly; each file should not exceed 5 MB. Fill out the information completely and upload the evidence on the candidate portal to be considered for bonus points.

THRESHOLD FOR ENSURING INPUT QUALITY

Applicants must score at least 50/100 points. The linked program, awarded by a foreign university, requires an additional IELTS of 5.5 or Vietnamese language proficiency level 4/B2.
