1. General information
International University (IU) belongs to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (VNU-HCM) Established in 2003. This is the first international university in Vietnam and the first public multi-disciplinary, multi-field university in the country offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in English, using internationally accredited curricula. The university currently offers 06 doctoral programs, 11 master's programs, and many other high-quality undergraduate programs.
2026, International University introduces Master's programs to organizations, enterprises, administrative agencies, and interested candidates:

Admission method: Admission. Applicants submit their dossiers and wait for the Specialty Committee's dossier evaluation results. This method is available for all applicants.

2.2. Target Recruitment Group
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Graduated or has a decision of graduation recognition at the bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent level, in a relevant field. For research-oriented programs, applicants must have graduated with at least a good grade or have published scientific works related to the field of study and research.
- Meeting the input requirements of the Master's program applicants.
- Meeting the language proficiency requirements as stipulated.
2.3. Language Competency Requirements
The university does not organize an English language proficiency test (English). Candidates must prove their language proficiency by one of the following qualifications or certificates:
- University Degree or Higher Earned through Full-Time Study Abroad, where the Teaching Language is English; University Degree or Higher in English Language; or University Degree or Higher from an English-Taught Program.
- One of the minimum English certificate requirements Level 3 For programs taught in Vietnamese or Level 4 For programs taught in English according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam. The certificate is valid for 2 years from the date of issue to the date of registration for admission.

Applicants who are foreign citizens or international students under the Vietnamese language program must achieve a minimum level 4 in the Vietnamese Language Competency Framework for Foreigners, or have graduated from a university program taught in Vietnamese; meanwhile, they must also meet the English language requirements of the University. Native speakers of the language used in the program are exempt from the language requirement.

3.4. Enrollment process
a. Admission Documents
- Application form cover.
- Admission Registration Form.
- Curriculum Vitae with Confirmation from the Local Area or Current Workplace.
- Professional resume with evidence of awards, projects, years of experience, management positions, professional certifications, and community activities.
- 02 certified copies within 6 months of the undergraduate diploma and transcript. Candidates awaiting their diploma may submit a temporary graduation certificate.
- Introduction letter from the organization, mandatory for candidates applying to the Business Administration program with a bachelor's degree not in the Economics field.
- English Language Proficiency Documentation as Per Regulations.
- Certificate of priority status, if any.
Note regarding foreign degrees: Candidates with degrees awarded by foreign educational institutions must supplement the official recognition document of the degree Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training - Academic Credential Recognition Center Issue, no later than the application deadline. If not available, applicants must submit a commitment form and complete the official confirmation document before the official enrollment.
b. Admissions Process
- After submitting all documents, the candidate is evaluated by the specialized committee on the academic record at the undergraduate level and language proficiency to determine the level of suitability.
- The specialized committee reviews eligible applications, then conducts a detailed evaluation of the application and assesses the candidate's language proficiency.
- Admission results are announced after completing all the dossier evaluation processes.

The BSKT fee above applies to the maximum number of subjects. The number of subjects and actual fee depend on the candidate's category. Candidates must complete the admission fee before the deadline and complete the BSKT fee according to the announced schedule to participate in the class.

4.2. Training information
Admitted applicants submit their application for program selection on the official enrollment date. Applicants who apply for the Research Master's program via Method 1 must also provide:
- Application form for enrollment in the Master's research program via method 1.
- Certificate of approval for thesis supervision by the supervisor, with confirmation from the department or laboratory regarding research conditions for the student.
- Commitment to ensure full-time study time.
- Research outline according to the requirements of the specialized unit.
