Conference of Officials and Employees of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
On the afternoon of November 26, 2025, the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing (OEQAT), International University (IU), organized its Conference of Officials and Employees for the 2025–2026 academic year in Meeting Room O2.607.
The conference is an annual activity aimed at reviewing and recognizing the achievements of the 2024–2025 academic year, while also critically examining existing shortcomings and their causes in order to establish appropriate directions and plans for the new academic year. It also provides an opportunity for officials and employees to exercise their democratic rights, contribute ideas, and share their aspirations with the Office’s leadership and the University’s leadership. At the same time, the conference serves as a channel through which the Office can submit legitimate proposals and recommendations concerning the rights and interests of its staff to the relevant management levels.
The conference consisted of two main parts:
- Conference of Officials and Employees of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing for the 2025–2026 Academic Year– Report on the 2024–2025 academic year and directions for the 2025–2026 academic year;– Report on the Office’s use of its 2025 budget;– Discussion of University regulations and documents;– Election of delegates to attend the University-level Conference of Officials and Employees.
- Implementation of the 2025 quality assessment and classification of the Office and individual staff members.
The Presidium chairing the conference consisted of Mr. Vong Binh Long, Head of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing, and Mr. Lai Tran Thanh Son, representative of the Executive Committee of Trade Union Division No. 2 and representative of the Executive Committee of the International University Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Huu Tri, Deputy Secretary of Party Cell No. 4 of International University, acknowledged and commended the Office’s outstanding achievements during the 2024–2025 academic year. He also provided recommendations to support the Office in successfully achieving its targets for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Representing the International University Trade Union, Mr. Lai Tran Thanh Son expressed strong agreement with the contents of the conference and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and contributions of all officials and employees of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing over the past year. He also expressed his hope that the Office would continue to build upon its strengths in the coming period.
The Conference of Officials and Employees of the Office of Educational Quality Assurance and Testing for the 2025–2026 academic year concluded successfully. The conference adopted its Resolution and officially closed at 4:20 p.m. on the same day.
