[HTSV2026] VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival 2026 – Cross-Country Running & Tug of War
In order to maintain the activities of the Traditional Students’ Sports Festival organized every two years by VNU-HCM; enhance the spread of the physical exercise and sports movement to all students Viên, students; strengthen exchanges, connect students, students in VNU-HCM, contributing to enhancing the image of the International University and VNU-HCM; identify, nurture outstanding individuals and groups representing students of the International University and VNU-HCM to participate in sports competitions within and outside the Ho Chi Minh City region.
The Student Affairs Office cordially invites all students to register for participation in the activities of Running and Tug of War at VNU-HCM Student Sports Festival 2026 with the following information:
Target audience: Full-time students pursuing a single degree program, linked programs, and exchange programs currently studying at the affiliated training facilities of VNU-HCM and not falling under the category of those on probation, or being disciplined with a warning or higher.
Conditions for participation:
- Students who have sufficient health to ensure compliance with the regulations have the right to participate.
- Students not in the category of those on academic probation or under disciplinary action from a reprimand and above.
- Students who have received graduation decisions within 30 days from the date of the competition are allowed to continue participating in the competition.
𝟏. Cross-Country Running
– For males: 3.000 m.
– For women: 1.500 m.
– Each content, athletes compete in a direct performance-based format to rank.
– No limit on athletes participating in competition.
𝟐. Tug of War
– Number of teams: 01 men’s team (10 men) and 01 women’s team (10 women) (official players: 8 athletes, substitutes: 2 athletes).
– Total weight rounded to two decimal placesTotal weight in kg of nam là 562 kgof female is 482 kg.
– Due to limited numbers, the organizing committee will contact those who meet the criteria.
– The BTC will give priority to students who have previously participated in rope-pulling competitions and have won awards.

– Location of the Opening Ceremony: Cape Colony Square Spratly Islands, B Dormitory – VNU-HCM.
