Special Topic: “Gender Equality – Perspectives and Experiences”

“A son must be strong”, “A daughter must be gentle”, or “This field of study is more suitable for males”…

These are the gender stereotypes and norms that still exist in the academic environment as well as in society. Although the concepts of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and biological sex are entirely independent, society sometimes imposes uniform expectations, inadvertently creating limitations on the potential development of each individual.
