On December 13, 2022, International University (VNU-HCM) and ABB Automation and Electrification Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding for funding a robot station to support student training in the Electrical and Electronics Faculty of IU.

This signing is expected to improve the quality of education, meet the increasing demand for human resources in society, and expand opportunities for faculty and students to get familiar with the latest and most advanced equipment. Company TNHH ABB decided to sponsor a robot station for the Electrical – Electronics Department of the university valued at 8 billion VND. In addition to sponsoring the robot station, Company TNHH ABB will also send experts to train faculty and staff on using ABB robots and Robot Studio software, and share experiences with students of International University. This cooperation will not only elevate the relationship between International University and Company TNHH ABB in the fields of technology, automation, and digital transformation but also support the university's training, especially at the Electrical – Electronics Department.
