VietFuture Awards 2026 – Future Innovators Award

Continuing the success of last year, the VietFuture Awards 2026, organized by VINASA, has officially launched and will accept applications until the end of the day  10/8/2026.

Award for student startup innovation projects, enterprise commissioned projects, and R&D projects &The universities and colleges across the country have the desire to commercialize. The awards are expected to be an attractive activity and an opportunity for students to learn experiences, connect, and have direct recruitment with business leaders.

I. VÒNG THI

(1) Preliminary Round – Submit Applicationfrom date 15/01/2026 to 10/08/2026: Preliminary selection at universities / colleges

➤  Notice of Preliminary Results: 24/8/2026

(2) National Final Admission Round (17-18/9/2026with activities including presentations, exhibitions, project demos, collaboration connections, and recruitment in Ho Chi Minh City.

II. RULES OF THE COMPETITION

1. Contestant Object

Student at all universities, colleges across the country (There is no limit on the number of works an author can submit.

2. Time for receiving application forms: 15/1/2026 to 10/8/2026 (Semifinal Round)
3. Form of registration for the exam: 

First-round campus-level selection: 

• Step 1Group of 2-5 students (group representative submits the application) submits the competition application to the University. Each project can be registered in a maximum of 3 fields. There is no limit on the number of works submitted by a single author.

• Step: 2: Students create personal profiles (profile/CV) by registering an account on the InnoConnect platform: https://innoconnect.vn/

• Step 3: After receiving the applications, the University will pre-select projects that meet the criteria for participation in the competition.

Note: 

For innovation and entrepreneurship projects, project R&D: The University will select a maximum of 03 nominations for each participating field in the National Final Round. 

For projects commissioned by enterprises: The number of students in each group participating in the project is unlimited. Information about commissioned projects from enterprises can be viewed HERE.

• Step 4:After the pre-selection, the University will send the list of students participating in the Award along with their personal profiles (profile/CV) on the InnoConnect platform: https://innoconnect.vn/ to the Organizing Committee.
  Projects that have been pre-selected by the University will submit their application forms for the National Final Round at the link: https://vietfuture.vinasa.org.vn/. Deadline for submission: 10/8/2026.
• 11/8/2026 – 20/8/2026: Organizing Committee pre-screening applications
• 24/08/2026: Notification of pre-screening results via email

National Final Round: 17-18/9/2026, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Presentation/Pitching Round of the National Final, the National Final Evaluation: Each nomination has a maximum of 05 minutes of presentation to the panel according to the following time frame:

• 03 phút: Technical preparation, introduction
• 05 phút: Presentation, product, solution, service demonstration
• 10 phút: Q&A with the jury
• 02 phút: Equipment collection and leaving the room

Within the framework of the National Final Pitching Round, the program will include an Exhibition, demonstration of projects, products, and applications from participating teams. Individuals, organizations, and enterprises will visit, exchange, and connect with the projects participating in the exhibition.

(Accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the university and project teams; the product demonstration area, applications, and networking, collaboration opportunities are provided free of charge by the organizing committee according to the selection of the organizing committee)

AWARD STRUCTURE

• Each field will award 3 prizes: First, Second, Third Place and 2 Potential Awards, along with prizes from enterprises and sponsors (if applicable). 
• Enterprises/sponsors will select and award prizes separately for projects according to the enterprise’s request if the criteria are met.
• The university/college ranked first in the color chart will be awarded the First, Second, Third Place team awards.
