Notice on Participation in the Euréka Student Research and Innovation Award – 2026
The Euréka Student Research Award is a prestigious award for scientific research and creative works of students nationwide. Therefore, the Science and Technology Management Department cordially informs and kindly requests esteemed teachers and units to disseminate this information to students regarding participation in the Euréka Student Research Award – the 28th edition in 2026
1. Target audience:
– Vietnamese and international students currently studying at universities, colleges, and academies nationwide are eligible to register for participation, in two forms: individual or group (each group no more than 5 students), each individual or group may register for participation in one or multiple projects/topics.
2. Content:
– The award is for scientific research topics/projects of students. With diverse fields: Information Technology; Food Technology; Administration – Law; Chemistry; Educational Science; Agricultural Science; Science of Medicine and Pharmacy; Social Science; Economics; Technology and Engineering; Planning, Architecture and Construction; Biology; Resources and Environment; Culture – Art; Physics.
– Requirements: The topic/project submitted for participation must have novelty, creativity, and ensure scientific validity.
3. Participation documents:
1. Registration form for the project participating in the award by the author or group of authors (Form M01 attached in the regulations file and có hình 3×4).
2. Copy of ID card or Citizen Identity Card (no need for notarization) of the author, group of authors (if it is a group of authors, scan ID card/CCCD of all members in the group). These scanned files should be placed in a separate folder and named CMND/CCCD in the total zip file when submitting.
3. Each author or group of authors submitting the project must submit a research project report at the semi-final round (in English or Vietnamese). Details on the structure of the research project please refer to the attached regulations file and sample M02.
4. Each topic must design a poster introducing the research results in size 0.8m x 1.3m (portrait format) for communication purposes and participation in the topic selection activities. Students can refer to the poster designs from previous years via the following link: https://www.facebook.
Note: Please submit all participation documents in electronic format only. If there are any changes, the P.QLKH will update accordingly.
4. Awards:
a. All authors and supervisors of scientific research projects participating in the award will be issued a Certificate of Participation in the Euréka Student Research Award.
b. Topics that win the First Prize will be recommended for the award of the Youth Innovation Honor of the Central Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Participants are kindly requested to submit their documents to the email address ntkien@hcmiu.edu.vnbefore September 3, 2026 to enable the department to proceed with the next steps. Authors are kindly requested to submit the documents in zip format and name them according to the following model: IU_shortened name of the participating field_main author’s full name (Example: Chemistry -> IU_HH_Nguyễn Văn A
