Procedure for Implementing the Process of Confirming Admission and Submitting Admission Documents for Candidates Who Have Been Admitted to International University for the 2026 Academic Year

The University Admissions Council of International University (IU) hereby informs applicants who have been admitted to university in 2026 about the procedure for confirming enrollment and submitting enrollment documents as follows:

To ensure compliance with the admission regulations at International University, applicants must fully fulfill the following 03 requirements in the given order:

  • Yêu cầu 1:  Online Admission Confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training’s Admission System (GD &ĐT)  (https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/(except for candidates who graduated from foreign high school programs)):  before 5:00 PM on August 21, 2026.
  • Yêu cầu 2:  Online information registration at the admission page of the University  (https://ketquaxt.hcmiu.edu.vn/tra-cuu-ket-qua) before 5:00 PM on August 21, 2026.
  • Yêu cầu 3:  After fully fulfilling the above 02 requirements, the candidate submits the enrollment application directly to the International University from August 17, 2026 to before 4:00 p.m. on August 22, 2026The school encourages applicants to submit their applications from August 17, 2026, to August 20, 2026.

All applicants are responsible for the accuracy and validity of the documents and information provided to the University. The University will not recognize the admission results of applicants and will take action according to regulations when fraudulent activities in document submission are detected during the application review process.

The candidate should follow the procedures for submitting admission applications as instructed in the notice and regularly check the school’s information pages to get the latest updates.

Admitted students to universities in 2026 who have been admitted through various admission methods should carefully read and submit enrollment documents to the International University according to the following regulations:

A. ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE GUIDE

I. ENROLLMENT APPLICATION FORM

Note: Applicants must prepare all documents fully and arrange them in the correct order according to the regulations before coming to complete the enrollment procedures. In case of missing any required documents, the school will reject the applicant’s enrollment application.II. PROCEDURE, TIME AND PLACE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS

  • Step 1: Students check results at the page  https://ketquaxt.hcmiu.edu.vn/tra-cuu-ket-qua  and select the item  Enrollment.
  • Step 2: Students perform the following actions: Select study plan; Update English certificate information (if any); Register for Physical Education courses; Complete and accurately fill in personal information.
  • Step 3: Students go to  A2.104 Meeting Hall  theo  to submit documents for the thousandsh to perform: Submit documents; Pay tuition and fees temporarily (by bank transfer); Submit Youth League book; Receive the admission notice.
  • Step 4: Students go to  Auditorium A1.109  to carry out: Student card issuance; Accommodation counseling, dormitory registration; Health insurance counseling; First-year civic life schedule; Student services.

Note:

  • Students participate in the English proficiency test at the beginning of the semester directly at International University (see details at  Section II Part B);
  • Important information at the start of the academic year and the first-year civic life schedule at  https://iuoss.com/.

  • The school will organize a centralized health check-up according to the guidance of the local People’s Committee and will announce the specific details later;

III.  Các khoản thu đầu năm

  1. Tuition fee for Semester I, Academic Year 2026 – 2027 (Session 1):  25,000,000 VND.
  2. Bảo hiểm y tế (15 tháng):  853.875 đồng/sinh viên  (In the case of students participating in BHYT for less than 15 months, the difference in amount will be used to pay for the students’ tuition fees).
  3. Phương thức đóng: Nhà trường chỉ thực hiện thu học phí và các khoản thu liên quan đến người học thông qua Hệ thống thanh toán trực tuyến của Nhà trường tại website:  https://nhaphoc.hcmiu.edu.vn

Note: Students who are granted admission scholarships still pay tuition fees according to the general regulations. After receiving the approved scholarship list, the Planning and Finance Office will transfer the scholarship funds into the student’s provided account.

Regarding the fees for the selected and registered programs, students pay the service charge to the service provider on the day of submitting the enrollment dossier (at Room A1.109), including:

  • Cost of Participation in the Topic on Sources.
  • Cost of purchasing accident insurance throughout the study period at International University.
  • Cost of studying soft skills topics as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training&ĐT.

B. STUDENT CONTENT REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

I.  First-Year Study Plan

  1. Students study the program awarded by International University

Students who perform online enrollment are required to choice 01 trong 02 Learning plan as follows:

  1. Standardized Learning Plan: Students study courses in the first-year program, 18-22 credits per semester.  
  2. Lightened Study Plan: Students study 12-15 credits per semester in the first-year program, allowing students time to develop their English language skills. For this study plan, students may:
    • Choose the enhanced English program organized by International University.
    • Or self-study to enhance your English language skills.

        Lưu ý: One of the conditions for maintaining the scholarship for admission and for academic scholarship is that the number of accumulated credits in each semester must reach a minimum of 15 credits.

  1. Students studying the joint program
  • The candidate must have an international English language certificate equivalent to a minimum IELTS 5.5, or must have a minimum level 4 according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam, or an English proficiency level equivalent to B2 according to the European Language Reference Framework (CEFR).
  • Candidates who do not meet the English language certificate standard will be conditionally admitted. If admitted, students must take an English proficiency test organized by the University. Conditionally admitted students must self-study English or attend English enhancement classes organized by the University. Conditionally admitted students must meet the English proficiency standard required for the international joint training program mentioned above within a maximum period of 12 months from the date of the conditional admission decision. After this period, students who have not met the English proficiency standard will be removed from the program.

II.  Participate in the First-Semester English Exam

  1. General Provisions
  • Students who are admitted to International University without an English certificate must take the English placement test at the beginning of the semester to assess their English proficiency.
  • Students are exempt from participating in this exam if they have certificates issued by the Ministry of Education and Training &The official recognition in Vietnam is equivalent to level 4/6 according to the Vietnamese Language Competency Framework. Specifically as follows:

  • Students must bring their ID card to enter the examination room.
  • The University will schedule the English proficiency entrance test for all students (those without an English certificate as mentioned above) on the same day as the application submission.

  2. Kết quả kiểm tra:  The test results will be notified via email and the student’s personal phone number, after 3 days from the day the student participated in the test.

III. Registration for Physical Education (PE)

  1. General Provisions
  • Students in the program awarded by International University are required to study Physical Education.
  • This registration form provides reference information about students’ preferences for Physical Education (GDTC) in the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. However, to prioritize the scheduling according to the curriculum of the major, the registered GDTC subjects may be changed by the school to fit the study plan.
  1. Thời gian đăng ký:  until 17:00 on August 21, 2026. Students registering when completing the information disclosure on the university’s enrollment system.
  2. Courses of Physical Education:  Pickleball, Volleyball, Basketball, Martial Arts, Table Tennis, Swimming.
