On December 30, 2022, International University (VNU-HCM) and Khang Thong Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote research topics, human resource training activities, and job creation for graduates.
Khang Thong Group Joint Stock Company (KT) is a multi-industry enterprise operating in various fields such as construction, transportation, real estate, restaurants, hotels, and resort areas. Among these, the Happyland project by Khang Thong has an area of 688 hectares, serving as a complex for tourism, entertainment, shopping, located within the Long An province's tourism development project. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the International University (IU) and Khang Thong Group Joint Stock Company not only establishes a cooperative relationship between the two parties but also leverages the strengths and capabilities of each side, utilizing the potential in infrastructure, human resources, and professional expertise in educational activities.
According to that, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, specifying various, rich, and diverse contents. It can be seen that the main activities of the cooperation are focused on items such as the International University training human resources for Happyland, students of the International University will be interned at Happyland. In addition, the International University also collaborates in building a medicinal herb cultivation area at Happyland, and collaborates in implementing projects that meet the needs of both sides. Both sides will also plan to establish a scholarship fund for the students of the International University.
This cooperation will provide students of International University with suitable internship opportunities, helping them gain more knowledge and practical experiences to enhance their professional skills. In addition, after graduation, students can directly join Kang Thong Corporation. This is also a commitment and proof of Kang Thong Corporation's reputation towards International University.
