On February 07, 2022, International University (VNU-HCM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BIOSO4 OY – a global supplier of laboratory reagents. Aimed at integrating technology and increasing value through R&D and experimental projects in the laboratory, this Memorandum of Understanding will open up long-term cooperation opportunities between International University (IU) and BIOSO4 OY.
BioSO4 Oy started commercial operations in 2018 and serves as a supplier of various registered REACH chemicals. REACH is a regulation of the European Union, passed to improve the protection of human health and the environment from potential risks caused by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemical industry against international large producers. The company's main products include xanthates, Danafloat liquid collection systems, along with patented sulfur recovery methods, and the developed passive filter BioSO4, forming an environmentally friendly system to collect nutrients in line with current trends.
After signing, both parties have agreed on a common goal to enhance the competitiveness of biopolymer production and improve the efficiency of biopolymer application in the water industry. In addition, both parties will jointly use the results of R&D activities for various applications to bring benefits to both sides. International University and BioSO4 Oy also have the right to present the products and services of the other party to potential or current customers.
By signing this Memorandum of Understanding, both parties agree to jointly strive to deepen the cooperative relationship between them and focus resources to create conditions for the development of both parties.
