Organizational Structure

Provides overall leadership and management of all activities within the University’s functions, duties and authority, and exercises the responsibilities of the Rector under the Law on Higher Education; accountable to the President of VNU-HCM and higher-level authorities for all University operations.

Directly oversees organization and personnel, finance, political security, facilities, investment and development, and external relations.

Directly oversees the Office of Organization and Personnel; Office of Planning and Finance; Office of Equipment and Supplies; Office of Facilities Management; Office of Investment and Development; Office of External Relations; School of Business; School of Economics, Finance and Accounting; School of Languages; and university-level councils as prescribed.

Accountable to the Rector for assigned duties, including academic affairs; education quality management and examinations; political and ideological affairs and student management; Youth Union activities; and Students’ Union activities.

Directly oversees the Office of Academic Affairs; Department of Educational Quality Assurance and Examination; Student Affairs Office; School of Industrial Engineering and Management; School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering; School of Biotechnology; School of Biomedical Engineering; Department of Physics; Department of Mathematics; Youth Union; and Students’ Union.

Accountable to the Rector for assigned duties, including administration and governance (developing University-wide processes, regulations and shared data systems); legal affairs; emulation and commendation; scientific research and technology transfer; fire prevention and fighting; national defense and security; digital transformation; and Trade Union activities.

Directly oversees the Legal Department; Department of General Administration; Science Management Office; Center for Information Technology Services; Digital Transformation Team; School of Computer Science and Engineering; School of Electrical Engineering; School of Civil Engineering and Management; Military Command; Trade Union; Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer; and Center for Infectious Disease Research.
